The Ten Mile River is 22 miles long and drains an area of 54 square miles in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. It starts at Savage Pond in Plainville, flows through North Attleboro, Attleboro, Seekonk, Pawtucket and flows into the Seekonk River of Narragansett Bay in East Providence. The Friends+TMRWC are the voice of the river and are proud members of the Massachusetts Rivers Alliance and designated by Rhode Island Rivers Council. We protect our watershed through action, advocacy and education. We lead the public on guided tours, perform many cleanups a year, and advocate for wetland protection, trail development, drought management, and dam removal and management. We have built partnerships with other organizations in the Attleboro area to further protect our natural resources. Please visit out Facebook page to stay up to date on events and projects.
Cleanups, guided hikes, paddles, promoting the health of the watershed.

The Friends of the Ten Mile River + Watershed Council are a nonprofit organization that dates back to 1990. Through the years, we have had different names but have held true to our mission to protect our watershed. We are the voice of the river and are dedicated to its well being.
Volunteer, stay up to date with events, become a member and speak up for the river. Membership is free and open to all.
